About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Account Executive or Account Manager to manage a specialised financial lines portfolio of mixed clients. This is your chance to take a proactive approach to account management and service delivery while working with a team that values your expertise and contributions.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Maintaining and developing business relationships with new and existing clients
* Describing insurable risk, designing appropriate insurance solutions and negotiating the best deal in the global insurance market
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with underwriting partners
* Support senior brokers and claims team as required
* Managing your own budget, sales plan, and debtors to drive success
* Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to expand Gallagher's reach
* Representing the Gallagher brand within the local business community, regionally and nationally
What We're Looking For:
To excel in this role, you'll need:
* A sales-oriented mindset with the ability to build a long‐term pipeline for new business growth
* Strong account management experience in general commercial insurance with 2 – 3 years experience preferable
* A proven track record of delivering financial and operational results
* Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, paired with a driven, passionate and professional attitude
