**Salary Starting at $80K**
Our client is a long term local business built on service excellence and as a result has a consistent, growing and trusted customer base. As you grow you can risk your service excellence without sourcing who fits your business needs. There is lots of stock going out the door and while the current team is doing amazing, the business needs great experience and leadership in distribution (logistics).
**About You**
1. Experience in warehouse, logistics and distribution will be needed and highly desirable will be working with products related to the construction industry
2. A cool and calm approach to work as the pressure comes when delivery schedules are tight due to construction deadlines - need to act and lead the team with a sense of urgency
3. High skills in stock management processes and approaches as the business needs a person in the business who knows what's on hand
4. Every role needs communication skills and specific for this role is meeting the needs of the customers/clients balanced with requesting and delivering key information internally
5. Competent people skills that allow you to generate the best whole team performance, including helping the individual grow their contribution to the business
6. Good working knowledge of workplace safety management relating to high volume warehouse operations eg. management of people/forklift interactions
7. Current forklift licence and good work history or consistent operation of forklifts in a warehouse environment.
8. BONUS: knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
This role will graduate to being part of the Leadership Group.

**Salary**: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

- Supply Chain & Logistics Occupations: 2 years (preferred)
