Job Overview
This role offers FIFO and full‐time opportunities across Australian sites, with relocation and competitive remuneration packages. The position typically begins in May and may involve high‐end projects, heavy equipment maintenance, and engineering support.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate and oversee site supervisors and painters across multiple commercial painting sites.
* Manage and supervise multiple construction and civil projects from start to finish.
* Support delivery across 1–2 active high‐end projects, including local deliveries to Perth metro area sites.
* Operate forklifts and heavy equipment, load and unload trucks, and move stock.
* Plan and perform maintenance on underground heavy equipment – including breakdown and scheduled preventive maintenance.
* Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults and perform repairs.
* Collect, validate, and analyse geological data, providing direction for ore drive development.
* Evaluate, select, and apply standard techniques and procedures across diverse engineering tasks.
* Assist in preparing proposals and presentations for engineering projects/programs.
* Coordinate site teams, subcontractors and suppliers, including procurement and management of subcontractors.
* Lead end‐to‐end project delivery, ensuring safety, schedule, cost and quality compliance.
* Operate and maintain rigs, including advanced rigging tasks and complex scaffolding.
* Manage travel coordination for site and interstate travel, including DIDO or residential options.
* Provide general administrative support to the People team and maintain accurate project records.
* Maintain and upgrade IT service and cloud strategies, mentoring and developing teams.
Qualifications & Experience Requirements
* Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role (e.g., scaffolder, civil construction, mining, or engineering).
* Accredited qualification or relevant tickets for the role (e.g., CPC, UEE, RII, etc.).
* Certified in OH&S, HSEQ, or related area for roles requiring safety compliance.
* Experience with heavy equipment, forklift operation, and engineering audit duties.
* Relevant engineering disciplines: mechanical, electrical, civil, geotechnical, metallurgy, mining, or environmental sciences.
* Proficiency with inventory systems such as Maximo or Jovix.
* Strong project management skills including cost tracking, forecasting, reporting and budgeting.
* Working at heights (completed within 2 years if required).
* Background in renewable or urban infrastructure projects is advantageous.

Work Schedule & Roster
* FIFO available with varied rosters (4/3, 7/7, 14/14) depending on site requirements.
* Family‐friendly rosters (Monday to Friday) for selected roles.
* Shift pattern: 1 week on, 1 week off (including Saturdays) for certain positions.
* Flexibility to work from any site within the Australian metro areas.
