About the role
Mels Catering is looking for a part-time Smoko Van Driver to join our team in Townsville, QLD 4810. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering delicious snacks and refreshments to workplaces.
Applicants must be Australian citizens or permanent residents with valid work rights.
What you'll be doing
* Driving the Smoko van and navigating to various work sites around Townsville
* Serving a variety of cold beverages, sandwiches, pastries and other snacks
* Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the van
* Handling cash and reconciling sales at the end of each shift
* Providing excellent customer service to our valued clients
What we're looking for
* A valid driver's licence
* Strong customer service skills and the ability to work well under pressure
* Excellent time management and organisational abilities
* Basic food handling and preparation skills
* A friendly, professional and approachable demeanour
