We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Avionics Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Richmond, NSW, Australia. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in maintaining aircraft and avionics systems.
About the Role
This position involves identifying and performing maintenance on aircraft, ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standards and in accordance with relevant regulations and guidelines. The successful candidate will also be responsible for mentoring and coaching junior staff members to meet departmental goals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintenance of aircraft including certification and coordination of tasks performed by yourself, AMEs, and apprentices.
* Training and supervision of unlicensed AMEs and apprentices under your control.
* Ongoing mentoring and coaching of staff to meet departmental goals.
* Managing the ordering of spare parts, components, and materials as required.
* Troubleshooting aircraft autopilot, instrument, radio, and electrical systems to identify problems and implement repairs according to current data and instructions.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
* A current CASA Part 66 Aircraft Engineer License with B2 category.
* At least 2 years of experience in maintenance on B-412 helicopters.
* Proven experience in training and mentoring staff.
