Job Overview
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing warehouse operations, managing inventory, and supervising order processing, and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities
* Oversee and manage warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping products
* Maintain inventory accuracy and ensure inventory levels are sufficient to meet customer demand
* Supervise and train warehouse staff, including scheduling, assigning tasks, and monitoring performance
* Conduct audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient order fulfillment and timely delivery of products
* Implement and maintain warehouse best practices to optimize efficiency and minimize costs
* Coordinate with vendors and carriers to schedule inbound and outbound shipments
* Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to inventory, orders, or shipments
* Ensure temperature integrity for stock are maintained and data collected
* Escalate errors to the relevant Manager
* Ensure compliance of all company policies, procedures and safety guidelines by all direct reports
* Complete other duties as assigned
Skills And Experience
* Proven experience as a warehouse supervisor or similar role
* Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and best practices
* Excellent leadership, interpersonal skills
* Ability to effectively manage and motivate a team
* Proficient in inventory management and software systems
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
* Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices
