About the Role
A well-established and high-performing agency is seeking a proactive and detail-driven Accounts & HR Assistant to support their Accounts & HR Manager in the smooth, compliant, and efficient running of the business. This is a hands‐on, varied role suited to someone who enjoys working across both finance and people functions, and thrives in a structured, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts & Finance
* Assist with day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable
* Manage invoicing, reconciliations, and general bookkeeping tasks
* Support financial reporting and ensure accuracy of data
* Process transactions and maintain records within Xero
* Assist with trust accounting processes in line with industry regulations
Payroll & HR Support
* Process payroll and manage staff leave records
* Maintain employee files and HR documentation
* Assist with onboarding, employment contracts, and compliance requirements
* Provide general administrative support across HR functions
About You
* Previous experience in accounts, bookkeeping, or a similar role
* Strong working knowledge of Xero
* Experience with trust accounting (highly regarded)
* Understanding of payroll processes and leave management
* High attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
* A proactive, reliable, and team-oriented approach
