Job Description
The role requires a highly skilled Field Engineer to support the function of ICT Logistics. The successful candidate will work closely with personnel within the ICT Contracts and Asset Management Division, ICT Strategy and Investment Management Branch.
* Manage the receipting and tracking of ICT assets, including consumables, both domestic and international.
* Oversee inventory management, invoices, and registers.
* Perform server and storage break and fix tasks.
* Provide technical support for Enterprise products.
* Prepare and dispatch ICT assets, consumables, and stock requirements internationally.
* Apply asset information to ICT asset systems, including tags, serial numbers, and user data.
* Monitor and apply Remedy updates and requests, maintaining Configuration Management Database creations and responding to asset-related service requests.
* Configure and image all in-scope devices, iOS, android, and Apple Macs.
* Obtain a Forklift Licence qualification.
* Track and monitor the decommissioning of all in-scope devices as needed.
Requirements
* NV2 Clearance is required.
* A minimum of 4-6 years' hands-on technical experience is necessary.
* Electronics training equivalent to at least 2 years of technical institutes or military technical schools/universities is preferred.
* A Bachelor's degree or electronics training equivalent to at least 2 years of technical institutes or military technical schools/universities is essential.
Required Skill Set:
* Asset Management data analysis.
* Data cleansing and maintenance.
* Asset Management reporting, including narrative trend analysis.
* Client support for ITSM tool upgrades.
