The Role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Receptionist to join our thriving clinic on a casual basis. This role involves a minimum workload of 10 hrs per week (x2 5-hour shifts) with the flexibility to cover sick leave and annual leave. The successful applicant can look forward to an opportunity for additional hours (20+ hrs per week) starting from the 13th of July 2026 until the 2nd of October 2026.
Your contribution will help ensure the smooth delivery of services to our patients and you will be a key ambassador for our clinic.
As the first point of contact for our clients, you will:
* Ensure a welcoming environment for our patients and visitors.
* Schedule appointments and handle phone and email enquiries.
* Provide exceptional reception and administrative support.
* Demonstrate a commitment to maintaining a high level of confidentiality.
* Collaborate with our team to ensure seamless clinic operations.
* Maintain a high standard of tidiness in our patient waiting area and gym area, including the laundering of our linen and massage towels.
About You
The successful applicant will have the following:
* A flexible working schedule to meet clinic demands, particularly the ability to work both early mornings and evening shifts (from 8AM until 6PM).
* Excellent phone manner and customer service skills.
* High level of computer skills with proficiency in using the Microsoft Office suite.
* Ability to work under pressure, prioritise and multi-task with high attention to detail.
* Reliable team Player with a \"can do\" attitude and professional presentation.
* Previous experience with Hicaps/Medicare/third-party billing/health funds highly advantageous.
* Previous experience within Allied Health reception or an office environment highly advantageous.
