Library Digital Technician
Council is seeking to appoint a permanent full time Library Digital Technician to contribute to Council's success.
* Permanent Full Time, 9-day fortnight
* Located at Gladstone Library

About the Role
The purpose of this position is to maintain and support the Gladstone Regional Libraries' computer and digital systems, provide advice and support to library users regarding technology, administration support and undertake general library duties.
Your role will include:
* Providing technological support and solutions to employees and customers.
* Collaborating with internal and external service providers to ensure system upgrades and software maintenance is executed effectively.
* Being present, pro-active and solutions-focused and recognise that the community is the core of our business.
You will bring:
1. Relevant qualifications in Library Technology (or related discipline) and/or equivalent demonstrated experience.
2. Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve general IT and technology-related issues.
3. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
4. Sound communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills.
5. Proficient keyboard skills and experience using Microsoft Office Suite and operating corporate business systems.
6. Legally able to drive a motor vehicle in Queensland.
