We are currently looking for a professional, self-motivated, client facing bookkeeper, BAS agent or Accountant for a group enterprise, to join our Dynamic team.
It is a full-time role located in Epping- Northern Suburbs.
This is a stand alone position reporting to the Managing Director.
Duties
Cost Accounting - oversee end-to-end accounts payable, accounts receivable and cashflow and recommendation on strategies to improve efficiency
BAS/IAS preparation and lodgement
Financial Reporting - monthly financial management reporting, preparation of detailed financial statements and reports for internal use and external stakeholders
Overseeing financials for multiple entities
Budgeting and Forecasting - develop, control and forecast income and expenditure to assist with financial planning
Preparation of month and year end, accounts hard close, cash flow forecasting, budgeting and reconciliation
Process payroll and supplier payments
Maintain asset and depreciation register
About you
Bachelor in Accounting or Finance and CPA or CA accredited
Management accountant experience is essential
Min 5 years industry experience
BAS Agent is essential
Experience in financial reporting is essential
Experience in using MYOB and QuickBooks Online plus other applications such as WorkBench Project Management Software (not essential as training can be provided).
Ability to multi-task and problem solve
Leadership skills, team player, self-motivated, reliable and trustworthy
Strong attention to detail, and the ability to work within a team environment and autonomously.
Must be interested in a variety of work & learning new skills & constantly growing
Excellent interpersonal skills, able to build strong relationships (both internally and externally), and quickly establish rapport
