About the Role
As the Clinical Manager – Theatre, you will be a key leader within the Perioperative Department. You will provide high-level leadership and operational management, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and clinical performance across the Theatres.
This is a dynamic role where you will foster a professional, respectful, and collaborative culture, empowering your team to deliver outstanding patient outcomes and achieve professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the Perioperative team
- Apply advanced clinical judgement and ethical decision-making in perioperative care
- Drive strategic planning, workforce development, and succession planning
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across the hospital
- Ensure compliance with clinical, safety, and organisational standards
- Mentor and develop staff, encouraging ongoing learning and growth
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Tertiary qualifications in management, business, or a related discipline (desirable)
- Expertise and/or postgraduate qualifications in perioperative nursing
- Demonstrated leadership qualities and the ability to influence and inspire others
- Robust customer service focus, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Problem-solving, analytical and report-writing abilities
- A commitment to embracing the hospital’s mission, vision, and values
