This company is a leading and reputable builder who is looking to source an experienced Site Manager to oversee a clubhouse on the Central Coast and further townhouse developments in the Newcastle region. This is an exciting opportunity for a proven leader to step into a pivotal role with a respected construction company known for quality and innovation.
The Role
You'll be responsible for managing and coordinating the day-to-day operations of a new build commercial project with future townhouse projects, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This role is off the tools and requires a hands‑on leader who can supervise subcontractors and site teams, maintain safety compliance, and resolve issues efficiently while keeping stakeholders informed. There will be further large developments to work on in the area after this project is completed.
Key Responsibilities
* Program and run projects valued $5mn +
* Oversee construction site operations and deliver projects to agreed timelines and budgets.
* Supervise subcontractors, trades, and site staff to maintain quality and compliance.
* Conduct regular site inspections, reporting progress and addressing defects.
* Ensure compliance with WHS legislation and foster a strong safety culture.
* Collaborate with development and project managers, consultants, and engineers.
About You
* Significant experience in delivering end to end commercial and residential projects.
* Full driver's licence
* Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage diverse teams.
* Excellent problem‑solving skills with high attention to detail.
* Computer literacy to use construction and project management software.
* Willing to travel between the Central Coast, Newcastle and Hunter for work.
