We are seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced and qualified professionals for the role of Hygiene Consultant. As an integral part of our consulting teams, you will play a key role in promoting health and safety in workplaces across various industries.

Our leadership, technical operations, and business support services are based around the country in Perth (HQ), Sydney, Brisbane, Darwin and Kalgoorlie.
The Opportunity :
Our business is growing nationally! So we are looking for Hygiene Consultants to join our teams in Perth, Brisbane and Sydney.
When you join us, you get to work a well-regarded and highly skilled team that includes eight (8) Australian Institute of Occupational Hygienist (AIOH) Certified Occupational Hygienists (COH) and four (4) Certified Industrial Hygienists (CIH) in a national team of approximately 100 employees.
In This Role You Will :
* Conduct health and hygiene risk assessments;
* Draft and create health and hygiene management plans;
* Learn to use and operate industry related equipment (e.g. fibre, dust, heavy metals (welding fumes), noise and volatile organic compounds) to undertake client project work;
* Undertake project management activities including planning, preparing, & execution of health / hygiene monitoring programmes for clients as required; and
* Undertake research on occupational hygiene issues and trends to provide pragmatic solutions to our client.
To Be Successful In This Role You Have :
* Completed or progressing towards completion of, a post graduate qualification in Occupational Hygiene, or M500 (BOHS) courses to hold an ICertOH or W500 (OHTA) courses to hold an ICertOHTA.
* Eligibility for full membership with Australian Institute of Occupational Hygienists (AIOH) and a desire to progress in becoming a Certified Occupational Hygienist (COH)
* Relevant certifications and permits required to meet statutory and essential requirements such as Noise Officer Certification, Mine Air Quality Technician -MAQT (WA) or working towards acquiring these certifications and permits
* Robust technical report writing and analytical skills to provide technical and scientific information to required standards
* Commercial skills to gather client requirements and define scope of work and develop quotes and pricing
* Project management skills to plan, execute and monitor the implementation of projects for clients
Who You Are :

You are a proven professional with experience in :
* Conducting health and hygiene risk assessments and creating health and hygiene management plans
* Operating different tools and equipment to execute work across a diverse range of hygiene hazards (e.g. fibre, dust, noise, volatile organic compounds etc.)
* Project planning, preparation and execution of health / hygiene monitoring programmes; and
* Research and report writing skills addressing various occupational hygiene issues to provide pragmatic solutions to clients.
If you are currently based outside Australia and interested in this role, you will be able to demonstrate at least five years of relevant work experience in occupational hygiene and hold a relevant undergraduate or post graduate qualification in Occupational Hygiene.
You Also Bring With You :
* Flexibility and willingness to undertake frequent travel to client sites according to client requirements and work in rostered shift environments (an essential and feature of work);
* Strong collaboration and communication skills to be contribute to team delivery;
* Ability to work autonomously where required on client projects and client sites;
* Strong client relationship management skills; and
* Ability to coach and mentor aspiring hygienists and technicians
