Job DescriptionOur Bulk Collection Depots located in Sunbury and Craigieburn are the 'jewel in the crown' in our range of collection solutions for Victoria's West.Our depots are thriving, busy and are well loved by the communities they serve and those that work there.
Our staff take great pride in ensuring our depots are accessible, clean, and that they are providing friendly customer service to whoever comes through our doors.As a Recycling Centre Supervisor, you will play a hands-on role in maintaining and overseeing the day-to-day operations across both our recycling depots.
To support you, a vehicle will be provided as part of this role, so providing a driver history report will be a necessary requirement as part of the background check process.This role requires the successful candidate to work on a Saturday OR Sunday each week.
Duties will include but are not limited to the following:Supervise and lead teams by providing ongoing mentoring, coaching, and supportEnsure maximum operational uptime and processing volumes through efficient management of operational teamResponsible for all depot WHS governance, practices and improvementsDevelop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholdersWork on the ground with team when work volume demands are highMaintain a professional and clean work environment staff and customersTroubleshoot with our Technician Team on machine issuesCompliance with TOMRA SAFE Standards and GuidelinesQualificationsWhat makes a great Recycling Depot Supervisor at TOMRA?Availability to work 5 days per week including 1 weekend dayA minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a similar roleTertiary qualification in Frontline Management or equivalent (preferred)Excellent computer and systems skillsAbility to motivate and support employees through ongoing professional developmentCustomer focused and experienced with handling customer complaintsExcellent attention to detail and strong time management skillsFull Australian drivers licence- A driver history report will be requested as part of our background check processPrepared to undergo mandatory Police Check and attend a pre-employment medical assessment to assess capability to perform the role requirements safelyAdditional InformationDoes this sound like you?!
