About You
* At least two years of experience or a similar role
* Interest in slow fashion and retail
* Tertiary qualification in Fashion, Marketing, or Business (highly regarded)
Position Summary
Join our small, close-knit design team as a Buyer & Design Coordinator. You will work closely with our Designer/Director, involved in the conception and creation of collections, managing product development, assisting with photoshoots and campaigns, and liaising with retail and sales teams. This multifaceted role suits someone with experience in buying, production, merchandising, or allocation.

Key Requirements
* Over two years of relevant experience, preferably in small business
* Interest in slow fashion and retail
* Qualifications in Fashion, Marketing, or Business (highly regarded)
* Excellent communication skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite
* Highly organized with good time management
* Ability to work under pressure
* Strong understanding of product trends
* Energetic, passionate, and organized
* Impeccable presentation skills
* Enjoy working in a creative, deadline-driven environment
* Team player with a can-do attitude
Job Responsibilities
* Assist with product and design development
* Collaborate on improving product, sales, and brand
* Source fabrics and trims
* Plan new product ranges and ensure timely delivery
* Manage product development with contractors
* Participate in fittings and approve samples
* Contribute to costing estimates
* Assist with photoshoots and marketing campaigns
* Manage the product development timeline
* Coordinate with production for timely delivery
* Create design specifications and sketches
* Conduct market research
* Build and expand product ranges
* Support seasonal launches
* Assist marketing with promotions and social media
* Analyze industry and consumer trends
* Support retail and e-commerce sales targets
