Category Marketing Manager - Other Giving and Growth
We are seeking an experienced Category Marketing Manager to lead the development and implementation of our growth and other giving portfolio, ensuring it remains a compelling, impactful, and sustainable offering for supporters.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and execute the end-to-end marketing strategy for the category and products to drive sustainable growth and donor retention and experience
* Lead category performance reviews, reporting on KPIs, market trends, and audience insights to drive data-informed decision-making
* Oversee the development and delivery of an overarching supporter treatment strategy for all segments and work to integrate the strategy through the Go To Market teams
* Supporter Journey Management: Develop and refine tailored supporter journeys to maximize engagement, retention, and acquisition efforts across multiple channels and digital ecosystem
* Content Design & Management: Lead the creation and optimization of sponsorship content, ensuring alignment with World Vision Australia's mission and supporter
* Design and model product, bundling and pricing offers that meet field and business funding requirements
* Lead and inspire the team responsible for driving revenue growth, fostering collaboration, innovation, and operational excellence
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with wider marketing, operations, channels, fundraising, digital, and field teams to understand channel requirements and ensure consistent messaging and experiences
* Strategic Leadership: Provide thought leadership to ensure the child sponsorship product remains competitive, relevant, and aligned with World Vision Australia's strategic objectives
Requirements:
* A strong background in content design and storytelling, with a focus on supporter engagement
* 5-10+ years in product management, category management, or marketing, ideally within the non-profit or social impact sector
* Extensive pricing, financial modelling experience to drive revenue design and strategy implementation
* Experience in the management of P&L of category lines
* Demonstrated experience managing products through all stages of their lifecycle, from ideation to execution
* Proven experience managing and mentoring teams to deliver exceptional results
* Experience overseeing operational fulfilment processes to ensure donor commitments are met with excellence
* Exceptional collaboration skills with experience working across diverse teams and channels
* Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and apply insights to improve product performance
* Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
