Position Overview

The Department of Corporate and Digital Development (DCDD) is a comprehensive, sophisticated central corporate services agency that undertakes a unified enterprise‑wide approach to delivering corporate and digital services to Northern Territory Government (NTG) agencies.
Key Duties
As the Director Supply and Contracts, you provide strategic leadership and high‑level advice to enhance the agency’s own procurement, contract management, project administration, and related reporting, as well as providing commercial business support to key stakeholders.
Your key duties will include the leadership, management and mentoring of a dedicated team of supply and contract professionals, driving the delivery of complex and high‑risk procurements, which includes strategic development, planning, specification development, tender evaluation and debriefing. You will also be responsible for overseeing contractor performance, contributing to governance and risk management, and drafting complex procurement and contract management documentation.
Utilising your extensive technical expertise in procurement, contract management and project administration, you play a key role in maintaining the effective day‑to‑day operations of the team.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, you require extensive technical expertise in procurement, contract management and project administration, demonstrated success in developing strong relationships with contractors, and sound understanding of governance and legislative compliance with excellent knowledge of commercial law. Your executive‑level interpersonal skills, communication abilities and report‑writing proficiency are vital to contribute to the agency’s success and growth.
