Tenancy Management Professional
We are seeking a skilled Tenancy Management Professional to join our Customer Services team. In this key role, you will provide high-quality tenancy management services to residents and prospective residents across Tasmania.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver quality tenancy management through clear, timely, and respectful communication
* Provide expert advice on tenant rights and responsibilities, supporting residents in understanding their obligations
* Work collaboratively with residents to resolve neighbourhood or tenancy concerns and prevent future issues
* Manage tenancies according to the Residential Tenancy Act and program requirements, including SDA legislation
* Identify potential tenancy risks early and work with internal teams to support tenancy sustainment
* Conduct routine, ingoing, and outgoing property inspections, maintaining accurate documentation
* Effectively manage rent collection, arrears, and tenancy debts in line with established procedures
* Maintain accurate and complete records in the tenancy management system
* Build strong relationships with support providers, referral agencies, and government stakeholders
* Oversee end-of-tenancy processes, including bond disbursement and debt recovery
* Represent the organization in external forums, as required, such as Tribunals or Court
* Stay up-to-date with relevant legislation, regulations, and program requirements
* Utilize reporting tools to monitor accuracy, compliance, and performance
