About the job
Quant Trader Developers are responsible for the design, implementation and on-going support of trading strategies. This includes applying quantitative financial methods to financial markets, developing trading systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop, execute, maintain and evolve trading strategies as determined by their Team Leader or Head of Trading Desk
* Define, analyse and solve complex financial market problems using quantitative methods
* Use statistical and quantitative methods to ensure strategies are systematic and research driven
* Collect, clean, and interpret financial data to find trends and patterns
* Analyse, compare and report differences between test and live trading results
* Build and maintain systems for trading, risk management, and research
* Collaborate with other teams within Tibra to share data, insights, and findings
* Support other trading related requests from Team Leader or Head of Trading Desk
Experience & Skills
* Strong skills in statistics, mathematics, or data analysis
* Software development skills, ideally in C++ or Python
* Experience working with large datasets
Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree or higher, preferably in one of the following disciplines (or similar):
* Mathematics & Applied Statistics
* Computer Science & Software Engineering
* Physics
* Mechanical, Materials & Mechatronic Engineering
* Electrical, Computer & Telecommunications Engineering
Pay: From $120,000.00 per year
