We are looking for independent female support workers to join an established team.
You would work in a family home and provide support for personal care, mealtimes, community access, and other daily life activities. The shifts are before and after school and weekends. Overnight shifts are also available.
The family is looking for support workers who have lived experience supporting children and/or have been in the childcare, supported accommodation, education space, or similar environment.
Our approach is person-centred and focused on achieving positive outcomes for the young person and our team.
About You:
* You would be a calm, softly-spoken spoken mature person
* You would have a positive and engaging attitude.
* You would be reliable and able to commit to set shifts on an ongoing roster and have some flexibility to cover other shifts.
* You would be focused on working with the family, other support workers, the school and allied health providers to achieve the young person's goals.
* You would be able to follow the support plans, maintain accurate notes and complete data collection using the systems in place.
