This is a blank canvas HR and Safety Manager role.
No legacy to untangle, no department to inherit.
It's yours to build.
Some people fall into HR.
Others shape it.
This one's for the latter.
Here's the deal.
A well-regarded industrial business is scaling fast.
Big projects. Big clients. Big ambitions.
But behind all that is a very human reality.
They need someone to make sure their people, systems, and safety processes don't just keep up, they lead.
You'll be reporting to the MD and Finance Director, two straight shooters who are all-in on growth and deeply aware that freeing up their time means handing HR and safety to someone capable, emotionally intelligent, and calm under pressure.
You'll be the connective tissue between leadership and the production floor, managing reviews, owning hiring processes, refining HR systems, and shaping safety protocols with real impact.
It's not about playing catch-up.
It's about setting the pace.
You'll need to be able to speak the language of both apprentices and execs, hold robust conversations when things get tough, and see the bigger picture.
Experience in a manufacturing or blue-collar setting would be ideal.
If you've seen what works (and what doesn't) in the real world, you'll thrive here.
Bonus points if you've streamlined systems, helped leadership sleep better at night, or translated HR policy into something people actually understand.
In return, you'll get autonomy, influence, and the chance to build something with your name on it.
Salary is negotiable for the right person with the right experience that will add value to the business.
Hybrid work is on offer, and if you're coming in from out of town, there is accommodation available for those weeks travelling to the office.
Add to that regular team lunches, milestone gifts, culture days, and a leadership team that actually values people.
If you're tired of being the HR person stuck in the passenger seat and ready to take the wheel.
Let's talk.
