Automation Solutions Specialist
Role Overview:
Drive revenue growth in automation for mobile and fixed plant applications, with a strong focus on mining clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute strategies to expand automation sales in the specified markets.
* Engage closely with existing customers to capitalize on established relationships and identify new business opportunities.
* Focus primarily on mining clients to help improve their operational efficiency through innovative automation solutions.
* Cultivate client relationships in defence, agriculture, power generation, and industrial manufacturing sectors.
* Collaborate with sales, engineering, and service team members to win full turnkey projects, ongoing service work, and component supply opportunities.
* Prepare and deliver technical presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
* Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in automation.
* Provide technical support and expertise to customers throughout the sales process.
* Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
* Proven experience in sales or business development within the automation industry.
* Strong understanding of hydraulic and lubrication systems.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
* Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.
* Willingness to travel across Australia as required.
