Intermediate Accountant – Business AdvisoryWe are currently seeking an Intermediate Accountant to join our Business Advisory team in Darwin! Our global connections provide extensive learning and professional development opportunities, fostering career growth and success within our firm.About the roleYour key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Producing & maintaining financial reports, using Xero, MYOB and Reckon softwarePreparing tax returns, FBT & financial statements for different business entity typesPreparing BAS & IAS returnsCalculating and reconciliation of payroll taxPreparation of management accounts, cash flow forecasts and KPI's for clientsAssisting with the development of junior colleaguesThis role is both challenging & rewarding, allowing you to progress into the next phase of your career with solid training, support and technical exposure. Working closely with the Director and other senior team members, you will assist with providing advice & ad hoc advisory work to deliver a range of accounting solutions to a diverse and growing client base.About youThe ideal candidate will demonstrate established accounting experience, with a relevant tertiary qualification and will be studying or aspiring to achieve CA or CPA qualifications. You'll have experience preparing tax returns for a variety of entities for small to medium size businesses and the ability to generate financial statements & management reports.
