You'll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the purchase ledger function while also contributing to exciting finance transformation and digitalisation projects. The Role
Working as part of the Finance team, your responsibilities will include:
* Processing, reviewing and posting supplier invoices accurately and efficiently.
* Matching invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes.
* Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies.
* Managing supplier queries and maintaining positive working relationships.
* Assisting with supplier payment runs.
* Investigating invoice and pricing queries.
* Processing proforma invoices and one-off payment requests.
* Supporting audit requirements and wider finance activities as required.
* Contributing ideas to improve processes, systems and ways of working.
About You
We're keen to hear from you if you have experience in previous roles such as: Purchase Ledger Clerk | Accounts Payable Assistant | Finance Assistant | Accounts Assistant
Experieince we are looking for:
* Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
* Good Microsoft Office skills, including Excel.
* A proactive and positive approach to work.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships across the business.
* A willingness to learn and support the wider finance team.
* A full UK driving licence
* AAT Level 2/3/4 is desirable but QBE is just as appealing as we are looking for the right team player.
