Lead and Represent Technical Intelligence Branch in Space Domain
About the Role
This exciting opportunity exists to lead and represent the Technical Intelligence Branch within the Australian Signals Directorate's (ASD) Access Foundations and Strategy and Governance Branches.
* Deliver strategic-level advice and coordination across ASD and other domestic and international stakeholders in support of ADGTI and FADGETI.
* Support Senior Leadership and their teams in developing and executing space-related activities and initiatives, including those under REDSPICE.
* Strengthen relationships across ASD, the Defence Portfolio, whole-of-Government partners, and Defence agencies in the Space Domain.
Key Responsibilities
* Strategic Advice: Provide expert strategic advice on space-related matters to senior leaders, teams, and stakeholders.
* Coordination: Coordinate efforts across ASD and other stakeholders to achieve space-related objectives.
* Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to enhance partnerships and capabilities.
Requirements
* Industry Experience: Demonstrated experience in signals intelligence or a related field.
* Skillset: Shape strategic thinking, achieve results, cultivate productive working relationships, communicate effectively, and exemplify personal drive and integrity.
* Education: Formal training or expertise suitable for the position.

Technical Intelligence Branch within ASD provides support and leads engagement in support of ASD's Assistant Director-General Technical Intelligence (ADGTI), who is ASD's Operational Space Domain lead. The branch works across multiple ASD teams and plays a crucial role in developing and maintaining relationships with JDFPG and various US counterpart Intelligence Communities.
The ideal candidate will have industry experience, formal training, or particular expertise suited to the position. Ideally, you will:
