Squiz is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Business Support Assistant to join our Finance team. This role is vital to our day-to-day business operations, supporting finance, billing, and vendor coordination activities. You'll be working closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth, accurate, and efficient administrative processes.

This role is ONLY open to candidates in Sydney Australia with hybrid working arrangements.

For this role, we ask that you can demonstrate the following experience and attributes:

* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
* High attention to details
* Methodical and organised approach to work process

Nice to have

* Experience in debtors collections

What you would do (the role day to day):

* Creating digital billing records from customer orders
* Create weekly invoices
* Call customers to collect cash
* Work with customer regarding their billing requirements (eg purchase orders)
* Enter vendor invoices to ERP
* Request vendor invoice approvals from internal stakeholders
* Import approved expense claims from expense system
* Manage the ERP purchase order system as required

Overarching program of work

* Look for improvements and provide suggestions around the billing process particularly collating and building a customer payment profile/
