We’re partnered with a respected commercial law firm in Mooloolaba that’s known for delivering practical, commercial outcomes for its clients. The firm is seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Lawyer to join its growing team either in Brisbane, Sydney or on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, QLD.
Salary range
$100,000–$170,000 + Super
The Opportunity
This position offers a diverse range of commercial disputes and litigation work, including construction law, insolvency, and general commercial matters. You’ll gain hands‑on experience, client exposure, and the opportunity to work alongside senior litigators in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
* Managing and advising on commercial disputes and litigation strategy
* Working on construction, insolvency, and contractual dispute matters
* Representing clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings
* Drafting pleadings, affidavits, and correspondence
* Collaborating with senior lawyers and contributing to team outcomes
What We’re Looking For
* 2–6 years post‑admission experience in litigation or commercial disputes
* Strong legal drafting, research, and advocacy skills
* Commercially minded approach with excellent client communication
* Ability to manage matters autonomously while working collaboratively
* Enthusiasm for resolving complex legal issues with practical solutions
Highly Regarded
* Experience in construction, insolvency, or debt recovery matters
* Familiarity with Queensland court procedures and dispute resolution processes
* Exposure to SME and private client matters
