A bit about the role
City of Casey is embarking on an exciting transformation journey, rolling out OneCouncil, a modern, integrated platform designed to streamline systems, enhance collaboration, and improve services for both staff and the community.
This role is responsible for driving organisational change initiatives that enable the successful delivery of transformation objectives, business goals, service outcomes, and program benefits, by leading end-to-end enterprise and transformational change management for Phase 2 of the OneCouncil Enterprise Resource Platform program across Council.
What you'll deliver
* Change Management:
* Lead and deliver end-to-end change management for the OneCouncil program, driving user adoption and business readiness through stakeholder engagement, communications, training, and risk management to ensure successful organisational transformation.
* Support Change Capability Build
* Build change management capability within Council by coaching subject matter experts, developing change products to strengthen organisational readiness, and maintaining strong partnerships to ensure ongoing business engagement.
* Organisation Culture and Values
* Identify and address current and emerging change needs by understanding stakeholder expectations and organisational culture to effectively facilitate change across the business.
What you'll bring
* An appropriate Change Management certification e.g., PCI, APMG, Agile Change Leadership, Prosci, or demonstrated equivalent competency.
* Significant experience and demonstrated track record in applying Change Management principles, methodologies, and tools for multiple projects, particularly change impact assessments, stakeholder management, engagement, communication, and training plans
* Demonstrated expertise and knowledge in leading and delivering change management for complex technology/ IT projects and working with IT project methodologies, stakeholders and systems of work.
* Demonstrated empathetic understanding of how people react to change
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively across culture, strategic, process and system change projects and programs
* Ability to influence others and move them toward a common vision or goal.
* Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle.
* Experience with ERP: Enterprise Resource Planning Platform or TechnologyOne / OneCouncil platform is desirable
* Willingness to undergo pre-employment background checks including
* National Criminal History Check, Working with Children Check, Eligibility to Work check & Psychometric Testing.
