We are seeking a proactive and results‐driven Sales & Business Development Manager to help expand our presence. This position is focused on business development and commercial sales within the building supply and architectural materials sector, particularly working with trade, commercial construction, and project‐based clients.
Responsibilities
* Market & channel development: grow presence and sales pipeline in focus regions through cold calling, networking, client referrals, and inbound leads.
* B2B sales engagements: manage and expand relationships with key customers including builders, contractors, architects, fit‐out professionals, and signage specialists.
* Lead generation & conversion: identify prospective accounts and convert them into long‐term clients.
* Client relationship management: maintain and deepen existing customer partnerships.
* Cross‐functional collaboration: work with internal operations, customer service, and logistics teams to ensure orders, delivery, and project support meet client expectations.
* Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., product, warehouse/logistics, marketing) to ensure timely delivery and client satisfaction.
* Understand client project timelines and material requirements to offer product solutions that meet quality, budget, and schedule expectations.
* Work closely with leadership to develop sales strategy and market penetration plans.
Requirements
* Proven experience in sales or business development, ideally within the construction or building materials industry.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Strong relationship‐based sales experience with commercial (ideally) or construction‐facing customers.
* Proven ability to develop territory and open new accounts.
* Excellent communication skills with a consultative approach to customer needs.
* Results‐driven, self‐motivated, and capable of working independently.
