- Tertiary qualifications in engineering or mechanical trade experience
- Previous experience in a sales or purchasing role.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Sound communication skills with high attention to detail.
- A keen willingness to learn and develop your skills.
- Competent user of Excel, Word, Outlook.
- Exposure to CRM & ERP systems preferred but not essential.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Responsibilities will include:
- Review customers' requirements and project specifications.
- Working with customers to find value for money solutions and products to suit their needs.
- Providing sales quotations and technical/commercial proposals to customers.
- Follow up of commercial proposals.
- Processing orders and expediting activities.
- Oversee projects from quote to supply of goods and documentation.
- Maintaining regular contact with suppliers and customers.
- Maintain customer relationships; participate in client meetings as required.
