Senior Partner Development Specialist - Connect, ANZ Partner

AWS is seeking a Partner Development Specialist (PDS) to drive our Amazon Connect partner go‐to‐market (GTM) strategy across Australia and New Zealand. This role sits within the ANZ Partner Organisation and focuses on growing the Amazon Connect practice across both technology and consulting partners. This means identifying the right partners, enabling them to build and sell across the Connect portfolio, driving co‐sell pipeline with AWS field teams, and ensuring successful customer outcomes. You will operate as the connective tissue between global / APJ Connect teams, ANZ partner development managers, sales teams, solutions architects, and marketing to deliver a cohesive go‐to‐market approach.

Amazon Connect is AWS's enterprise AI platform, purpose‐built to embed intelligent automation into the moments that matter most across business operations. The Connect family includes Connect Customer (AI‐powered omni‐channel customer experience), Connect Decisions (supply chain optimisation), Connect Talent (recruitment and workforce), and Connect Health (healthcare operations). These solutions function as AI teammates that work within existing enterprise workflows, helping organisations act faster, reduce complexity, and deliver better outcomes at scale. As PDS for Connect, you will build partner capability and pipeline to accelerate customer adoption of the Amazon Connect suite through partners.

Key Job Responsibilities

* Partner Strategy & Recruitment: Identify, recruit, and develop partners with the potential to build or grow Amazon Connect practices in ANZ.
* Enablement & Activation: Design and deliver partner enablement programs (training, certifications, solution development) to accelerate time‐to‐first‐deal and deepen technical capability.
* Cross‐functional GTM: Collaborate with marketing, solutions architecture, and business development to execute joint campaigns, events, and demand generation activities.
* Pipeline & Revenue: Build and manage a qualified co‐sell pipeline with partners, owning territory business goals and reporting on progress through regular business reviews.
* Field Alignment: Work with AWS account teams and Connect specialists to match partner capabilities to customer opportunities, ensuring partners are positioned effectively in active sales cycles.
* Operational Rigour: Maintain accurate pipeline data, deliver business reviews, and produce planning documents that inform investment decisions.
* Customer Outcomes: Ensure partner‐delivered implementations meet customer expectations, acting as an escalation point where needed during delivery.
* Partner Business Intelligence & Strategy Alignment: Act as the eyes and ears of the ANZ Amazon Connect partner business, capturing market signals, partner feedback, customer trends, delivery risks, and competitive insights to inform local priorities and ensure the ANZ partner strategy is aligned with regional business direction.

Qualifications

* 5+ years of Go‐To‐Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting experience
* Experience building and managing a healthy sales pipeline focused on driving revenue, adoption, and market penetration
* Experience in building profitable partner ecosystems
* Experience with selling enterprise software solutions in Customer Experience (CX/Contact Centre as a Solution)
* Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
* Experience with AI/ML technologies
* Familiarity with Amazon Connect or comparable platforms (Genesys, Five9, NICE, Twilio, ServiceNow, Workday)
