This role supports our fast-growing sales team in Australia/New Zealand and is a full-time, base salary plus commission position, fully remote and aligned with Sales Executives in the region.

Sphera Solutions is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Business Development Representative with a “go getter” sales hunter mentality to join our sales team. The role involves following up on marketing inquiries and hunting for new business opportunities to set appointments for our global salesforce.

Responsibilities

- Proactively seek out new business opportunities through outbound calling to engage, consult, and set appointments for field Sales Executives.
- Focus on outbound campaigns and business development activities (calls, emails, social media) and promptly follow up on inquiries from marketing programs.
- Leverage consultative sales methodologies to analyze prospect businesses and address evolving automation needs.
- Develop and manage a follow-up cadence to nurture leads that aren’t ready to buy.
- Participate in training and educational sessions to stay current on Sphera solutions, sales practices, and industry developments.
- Consistently achieve and/or exceed daily activity and sales targets.

Requirements

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, self-directed inside sales environment.
- Experience working with clients in a sales-oriented environment; experience selling over the phone and cold calling is a plus.
- Dynamic personality with strong verbal and written communication skills; confident outreach to potential clients.
- Adaptable and able to think on your feet when faced with new challenges.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, or marketing, or equivalent work experience.
- 1+ year of sales experience; track record in solution-based selling highly preferred.
- Software/SaaS product sales experience highly preferred; B2B sales experience highly preferred.
- Self-motivated, high-energy individual capable of thriving in a competitive but fun team environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint; experience with Salesforce or other CRM tools highly preferred.
