About The Role
The Communications Technician SHFC provides advanced technical and professional support across the Strategic High-Frequency Communications (SHFC) program.
Responsibilities
* Execute complex communications technical and maintenance assurance activities.
* Exercise assigned technical authorities and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Develop, review and assess technical packages and reports.
* Identify risks and implement corrective actions.
* Provide technical and maintenance advice to the ILS Manager SHFC.
* Support workforce development through mentoring.
* Ensure safety aspects of Defence capability are incorporated.
* Manage technical knowledge of processes, packages, products and equipment.
* All other tasks as directed.
