We are working exclusively with a rapidly growing Financial Services institution to appoint a Senior Associate into their Capital Markets team - loan syndication and treasury function. This is a key role supporting the continued growth of multiple funds and new lending strategies, offering end-to-end exposure across loan origination, structuring, execution, and ongoing management.
The role is well suited to candidates with a strong background in loan syndications and treasury, ideally from a bank, institutional lender, or credit fund environment, who are looking to move closer to investment activity within a lean, highly capable team.
Key Responsibilities
* End-to-end involvement in the creation and execution of syndicated loan facilities, from initial structuring through to close
* Supporting the establishment of new loan facilities for newly launched funds, including coordination with internal and external stakeholders
* Preparation and review of credit papers and loan documentation, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and alignment with internal credit frameworks
* Oversight of loan compliance, covenant monitoring, and adherence to facility terms post-close
* Close collaboration with treasury on funding structures, liquidity management, and drawdowns
* Assisting with portfolio management activities, including amendments, waivers, and refinancing
* Liaising with legal counsel, arrangers, agents, and counterparties throughout the loan lifecycle
Ideal Candidate Profile
* Experience within - Loan Syndications, Leveraged Finance, Corporate / Institutional Banking or Treasury / Funding teams with strong loan exposure
* Demonstrated experience across the full loan lifecycle, not just execution or portfolio management
* Strong background in credit writing and credit analysis for corporate or structured loans
* Solid understanding of loan documentation, covenants, and compliance requirements
* Treasury experience or close exposure to funding, liquidity, or balance sheet management is highly desirable
* Commercial mindset with strong attention to detail and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, lean environment
