Field service technician (toowoomba)

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Western Australia team on a permanent, full‐time basis, based in Perth (or surrounds).

In this role, you will travel to mine sites (domestically) to support our assets by commissioning new machines, performing maintenance on current machines in the field as well as training Customer mine site personnel on the RME suite of technologies that may be fitted to their machines.

You will maintain the continued relationships with our Customers by identifying their needs and liaising with our sales team to ensure the best outcomes.

As you will be the "face of RME" on Customer sites and be essential in building relationships with key stakeholders, well developed written and spoken communication skills are essential for this role.

In this role, you will regularly travel to new and exciting places, meet current people and engage in new and unique work experiences on the many sites you will visit.

Most FIFO roles require you to work 180+ days, but at RME, employees may choose total annual days of work between 125-150 days. This means you are able to create a work life balance that suits you!

Post the completion of the elected days, the options of either time off or additional days for additional reward is offered. The choice is yours!

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• Certificate III in recognised field (e.g. Electrotechnology, Fitter & Turner, Diesel Mechanic, Motor Mechanic) or similar Australian Recognised Trade Qualification.
• You must also have a current open driver's licence.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• A positive Customer‐centric attitude with excellent communication skills.
