The Role
We’re seeking a dedicated Onsite Caretaker Couple to join our team on a casual basis. This unique opportunity is ideal for a couple with complementary skills, as one person will focus on grounds maintenance, and the other on reception and housekeeping.
As an onsite couple, you’ll enjoy a collaborative role in maintaining the park’s high standards while ensuring guests have an outstanding stay.
Responsibilities
Grounds Maintenance Role:
* Perform general park maintenance, including landscaping, gardening, and basic repairs.
* Ensure amenities, facilities, and recreational areas are clean, safe, and inviting.
* Manage waste disposal, monitor utilities, and maintain the overall appearance of the park.
* Assist with compliance and safety standards.
Reception & Housekeeping Role:
* Provide exceptional guest service, including check-ins, check-outs, and handling inquiries.
* Manage bookings using the park’s reservation system.
* Perform housekeeping tasks, including cleaning cabins and shared facilities.
* Handle administrative duties, such as payments and reporting.
Shared On-Call Responsibilities:
* Respond to after-hours guest needs and emergencies as required.
* Ensure smooth park operations during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
What We’re Looking For
* A motivated and resourceful couple with a passion for guest service and park operations.
* Relevant experience in grounds maintenance, housekeeping, or reception is highly regarded.
* Strong organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Flexibility to work on-call and during peak times.
* Basic computer literacy for managing bookings and correspondence.
* Willingness to undergo a National Police Check and First Aid training.
