Senior Cybersecurity Engineer
This role requires an individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic.
* Create high-level design documents, interface control design documents, detailed software requirements and specifications, and requirements traceability documents.
* Serve as the primary technical interface to the customer throughout the life cycle of the project and act as a technical liaison relative to the software development effort with other departments within the company working on the same project.
* Interface with internal customers and external stakeholders to ensure consistent communication and system integration.
* Develop and execute security management plans and commissioning plans, including resourcing, logistics, and scheduling.
* Lead onsite commissioning and acceptance testing.
* Contribute to the identification and resolution of interfaces with main subsystems and security systems.
* Ensure the identification, management, and fulfillment of contractual requirements and customer requests.
* Analyze customer-supplied system specifications, decomposing statements into software requirements.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to define and execute testing protocols to achieve commercial operation based on contractual requirements.
* Provide local/remote technical support troubleshooting during commissioning and operation.
* Develop customer training and handoff material for internal and external O&M teams.
* Cyber Security Management Plan.
* High-Level Risk Assessment based on NIST 800-53, IEC 62443, and ISO 27000 methodologies.
* Detail Risk Assessment (DRA) and Threat and Vulnerability Risk Assessment (TVA).
* Security Case according to IEC 62443-4-1 and EN 50129:2018.
* Develop close working relationships with customer cybersecurity representatives.
* Drive continuous improvement by developing and capturing technical problem-solving knowledge.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Telecom Engineering, or similar.
* Minimum 5 years of cybersecurity system engineering expertise.
* Relevant cybersecurity qualifications/certifications.
* Knowledge and experience gained in rail, oil & gas, power, aero, or automotive industry sectors beneficial.
* Demonstrated interpersonal skills and communication ability to work in culturally diverse organizations and with multiple key stakeholders.
