Your Role at St John of God Murdoch Hospital You will be responsible for overseeing the accurate management and reporting of Visiting Medical Officers (VMO) out-of-hours rostering, ensuring cost-effective scheduling practices, especially regarding on-call duties and overtime, in compliance with award agreements and entitlements. Additionally, you will provide general administrative support to the Medical Services team. The Position Be responsible for the oversight and accurate data representation for VMO out of hours rostering. Responsible for the following VMO on call rosters; General Surgery, General Medicine, Geriatrics and Gastro On call Acquire and maintain current knowledge of Medical Practitioner Enterprise Agreements for both St John of God Health Care and the WA Health System. Oversee cost-effective rostering practices, particularly in relation to on-call, and over time in accordance with award agreements and entitlements. Monitor roster patterns to ensure effective, fair and equitable shift allocations. Monitor the performance and utilization of rostering processes to ensure maximum system efficiencies meet current rostering needs. Centralise and maintain up to date VMO rosters. Maintain and promote collaborative relationships with all key stakeholders, both internal and external. Provide general administration support within the Medical Services Administration team. Provide Secretarial Support to the Deputy Director of Medical Services including diary coordination, minute taking, and any other appropriate administration tasks. Provides Secretarial support to the EDS working Group including producing and circulating agendas and taking accurate minutes. Provide support to the Medical Credentialing Officer to ensure timely processing of VMO E-Credentialing applications, and mandatory reporting and licensing including: wwc, fluoroscopy, indemnity, Gesa and radiation. Onboarding of new junior doctors, including Security, IT access, Name Badges and Locker Keys Processing of Surgical Assistant billing claims liaising with finance and Surgeonline You will have high level experience in an administrative role with excellent organisational and time management skills including the ability to organise tasks and set priorities, work effectively under pressure and meet multiple deadlines with minimal supervision. To succeed you will have advanced word processing and computer literacy skills with experience using Microsoft Office suite. The ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders and maintain strict confidentiality is essential.
