About You
You know how good policy is made and you want to put your knowledge to work at a respected not-for-profit organisation that advocates for people on low and middle incomes in Australia's superannuation system.
Role
You are seeking a role where you will understand, support and advocate for Australians on superannuation and consumer issues. You have:
* strong analytical and research skills with the ability to interpret and synthesise complex policy and data
* demonstrated experience in the public service, an NGO or related industry sector
* a curious mind and take initiative in developing your expertise in new areas
* clear and persuasive communication skills and the ability to engage with diverse audiences.
About The Role
Reporting to the Director of Advocacy (Policy), you will work closely with the Research, Advocacy and Communications teams to ensure all policy outputs are accurate, evidence-based and aligned with organisational priorities.
You Will Also
* Contribute to identifying emerging policy trends and reform opportunities
* Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure findings are accurately reflected in policy recommendations and to provide policy content and technical input
* Coordinate policy submissions, reports and internal reviews
* Conduct analysis of policy proposals, assess impact on consumers and make recommendations.

Super Consumers Australia (SCA) is the advocate for people on low and middle incomes in Australia's superannuation system. We were founded to fight for an accountable and fair super system that delivers great service and great financial outcomes in retirement. Based on deep research, we influence policymakers, hold super funds accountable, and help consumers maximise and manage their super. Formed in 2013, we are an independent, not-for-profit organisation and a leading voice for consumers of superannuation products and services. Our primary funding comes through a small levy on super funds.
SCA partners with CHOICE to deliver on our purpose. CHOICE supports SCA with shared services including recruitment.
