**Job description**:
We are currently seeking an experienced Administration Support Officer to join the team within a Federal Government Agency based in Chermside. This role is offering a 12 month initial contract with a view to extend; working Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week.
**The Role and Responsibilities**
Under general direction, the Administration Officer will provide administrative and secretarial support. The position will have a considerable level of contact with internal and external stakeholders and will be required to communicate with and provide advice.
Responsibilities include:
- Research and responding to general enquiries and analysing documents and data
- Coordinating and preparing meeting minutes and papers
- Supporting the drafting of written communications and managing documents and databases
- Organising travel and finance reconciliation
- Participating in project management work
**About You**
- Experience working in an environment with changing priorities and timeframes
- Previous experience working in adminstration support role
- Ability to successfully organise your workflow
- Experience in building relationships both with internal and external stakeholders
- It is highly desirable that applicants have an understanding of or lived experience in the field of disability
