- Seeking a B2B Travel Industry Sales Manager looking for a BDM role that offers you something a little different
- This is not your traditional 'on the road' Sales Rep position.
- I am looking for someone with commercial acumen and someone who wants to focus on Account Management and a strategic approach to sales.
- Maintaining effective strategic relationships with partners, front line staff, executives, marketing and sales teams
- Maintain and manage applicable sales agreements, including reporting, commissions, back-end incentives and marketing plans.
- Set targets, develop, coordinate and implement annual sales/marketing plans with key accounts using a customized approach to address the specific needs of each partner.
- Ensure ROI is monitored and maximized
- Strengthen relationships and achieve growth with key and new preferred accounts through regular sales contact and informative updates, while offering offer sales assistance when appropriate.
- Provide detailed in house and offsite webinar product & sales training
- Co-organize and host client (consumer) presentations and product information sessions,
- Escort familiarization trips for travel agents / media / partners as necessary
- Provide strategic input and leadership to a local and global group of fellow peers within the sales team members
- Ensure that marketing collateral is utilized to its full potential.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through direct and trade channels.
- Evaluate ROI of potential trade and consumer activities and commit where beneficial
- Continually identify new opportunities that would be beneficial to the brand.
- Stay abreast of competitor activities and general trends within the industry.
- Deliver an accurate detailed weekly sales report
- Interpersonal Savvy-able to use good listening skills, be sensitive to customers, adjust quickly to different personal styles, and stay open to other viewpoints
**Experience Required**:

- Travel Industry B2B Sales Rep / Sales Manager experience required
- An existing network within the retail travel industry network and good understanding of different consortia's
- Confidence to hold online training sessions and face to face presentations
**The Package**:
$85k - 95k + super + bonus depending on experience
