About the role
The Application Tools Team is responsible for maintaining and configuring the tools used for software deployment and operating system deployment using Microsoft Configuration Manager and Adaptive. Assisting the Application packagers with more complex packaging requirements.
Key Responsibilities :
* Assess and integrate new hardware into Microsoft Configuration Manager for OSD, ensuring all drivers and required driver apps are installed
* Assist application packagers with advanced packaging issues and mentor junior packagers
* Maintain management tools and servers (Microsoft Configuration Manager, Adaptiva) and keep them up‑to‑date
* Assist with build issues, identifying, testing and implementing improvements to the build process, and with software deployment and install issues
* Help identify improvements to the application packaging process and keep work instructions up to date
* Assist Applications Senior, Architects and Security with testing and implementing any SOE configuration changes
What We're Looking For :
* 2+ Years with application packaging
* Knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Configuration Manager and Adaptiva on Windows server systems
* Good troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
* Familiarity with ITIL processes and standards
* Good knowledge of PowerShell and SQL
* Some knowledge and/or experience with Intune and Office 365
