This position reports to the Polishing Supervisor.

The Role
As a Polisher/Fabricator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and finish of our metal products. Your responsibilities will include polishing, buffing, and enhancing the appearance of metal components. Additionally, you may be involved in fabrication tasks related to metalworking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Following polishing processes to achieve consistently high standards.
- Pay close attention to calibrated lighting to remove defects and enhance chrome plating effects.
- Collaborate with the fabrication team to assist in metalworking tasks.
- May be involved in welding, grinding, and deburring as needed.
- Inspect finished workpieces for imperfections and ensure consistent quality.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Operate polishing machinery and other relevant equipment.
- Follow safety guidelines and best practices.
- Collaborate with production team to meet deadlines.
- Provide support across other production areas when required.
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
- Familiarity with various polishing techniques and materials.
- Ability to operate polishing equipment effectively.
- Meticulous inspection skills to achieve high-quality finishes.
- Knowledge of secure equipment operation and metalworking practices.
- Prior experience in metal polishing and fabrication is advantageous.
- Ability to handle physically demanding and repetitive tasks.
