About the Role
Speech at the Beach is seeking an experienced Speech Pathologist to join our new social language program,
Another Level. This innovative program uses collaborative computer gaming as a platform to explicitly teach social
communication, teamwork, and friendship skills to neurodivergent children and teenagers.
This is a part-time role involving weekend and after-school work. Programs typically run for approximately three
hours per session.

Hourly rate: $90 per hour

Essential Criteria
• Minimum of three (3) years' experience working as a Speech Pathologist
• Experience working with neurodivergent children and teenagers
• Experience designing and running small group therapy programs
• Registration as a Speech Pathologist in Australia
Desirable Skills and Experience
• Training in social or pragmatic language programs
• Understanding and practical use of the Socratic method and declarative language approaches
• A genuine love of gaming and interest in using games as a therapeutic medium
• Strong understanding of, and commitment to, neuroaffirming practices
