Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Gather and document business requirements through interviews and workshops.
Translate business needs into development briefs including wireframes, data dictionaries and process flows.
Coordinate stakeholder engagement for testing and feedback on new functionalities.
Act as a liaison between users and the development team to capture and resolve issues.
Troubleshoot and support users with system-related issues.
Develop and maintain user documentation and training materials.
Monitor system usage and performance to identify areas for improvement.
Create technical documentation for system configuration and support procedures.
Engage and manage external vendors and consultants to ensure timely delivery of services.
Estimate project scope including effort licensing and cloud service requirements.
Coordinate and manage projects to align with strategic goals and ensure timely delivery.
Facilitate stakeholder workshops to prioritise business requirements based on impact and feasibility.
Support the preparation and development of governance forums (Steering committees and working groups).
Provide functional support during business testing and ensure issues are documented and resolved.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project goals, milestones and deliverables.
About you:
To be considered for this role candidates must meet the following selection criteria:
Essential Experience and Education:
A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline or equivalent hands-on experience.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results with minimal supervision.
Proven adaptability in fast-paced evolving environments ideally within growing or post-startup organisations.
Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and experience with application frameworks and design.
Background in medium to large-scale government or commercial environments.
Project management expertise with certification in methodologies such as Agile or PRINCE2 considered an advantage.
Experience in designing and delivering large-scale technical solutions.
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with a creative and solutions-focused mindset.
