Job Description
The Clinical Facilitator is a key professional responsible for supporting, guiding and mentoring new staff. The primary objective is to enhance the skills of nurses in line with a lifelong learning framework.
This position works closely with the Nurse Educator to plan, deliver and evaluate learning opportunities.
Responsibilities
* Provide clinical guidance and support to achieve skill acquisition and practice development.
* Assist staff members with training obligations, planning, facilitating and evaluating learning opportunities.
* Collaborate with the Nurse Educator to achieve learning outcomes.
* Contribute to education and training policy development.
Requirements
* Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification.
* Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
* Annual practicing certificate.
* Postgraduate qualification in gerontological nursing highly regarded.
