The Opportunity
We’re looking for skilled, driven individuals to join the P-8A Poseidon Program at RAAF Base Edinburgh, Adelaide. As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME), you will be hands‑on with maintenance, modifications, servicing, inspections, testing and fault‑finding on aircraft systems.
Responsibilities
- Collaborating with the MRO team to ensure efficient task completion.
- Ensuring compliance within the DASR Part 145 Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) regulations.
- Fostering effective communication and coordination with Boeing, customers, and industry teams.
- Ensuring Quality Assurance (QA) procedures, aircraft maintenance/modification operating procedures, and meticulous documentation practices.
- Embracing a positive attitude towards Environmental Health & Safety, prioritizing the well‑being of all personnel.
Qualifications
- Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Mechanical, Avionics or Structures).
- Be an Australian Citizen to meet Defence security requirements.
- Hold a current driver’s licence.
Desirable
- Previous experience working with Military aircraft.
- Hold a CASA or DASA Maintenance Licence.
This role may require travel and periods working away from home. It's a great chance to immerse yourself in a different environment with our customer while carrying out the duties of the role.

Security Clearance
You will be required to successfully undergo the vetting process for a Government security clearance (Baseline) sponsored by BDA. Therefore, you must be willing to disclose all relevant and required information and must have the ability to verify your background for whole of life i.e. birth to present time.
