About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our dynamic team. This is a casual position that offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative and creative environment. As a member of our team, you will be instrumental in providing expert craftsmanship and customer service, contributing to the creation of bespoke jewellery pieces that exceed our clients' expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Customer Engagement: Greet and assist customers in a professional, friendly manner, ensuring they feel valued and understood.
* Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of our bespoke jewellery offerings, including engagement rings, wedding bands, and custom designs.
* Consultation and Custom Design Assistance: Work closely with clients to understand their unique needs, offering guidance on design choices, gemstone options, and metal selections. Assist in the creation of custom and bespoke jewellery pieces.
* Sales Excellence: Proactively sell and promote Diamond World's jewellery collections and services, meeting individual and team sales targets.
* Client Relationship Building: Foster long-term relationships with clients by providing personalized service, follow-ups, and offering advice on jewellery care and maintenance.
* Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining an organized, well-stocked showroom, ensuring that all jewellery is displayed in an appealing and professional manner.
* Administrative Support: Manage the processing of sales, ensuring accurate order entry, invoicing, and transaction records. Handle client payments and special orders with attention to detail.
* Customer Aftercare: Provide excellent post-sale support, including assisting with resizing, repairs, and any other customer inquiries.
* Team Collaboration: Work with other team members to ensure a cohesive approach to customer service and the seamless operation of the showroom.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
* Minimum of 4 years' experience in jewellery design, custom crafting, or a similar role within the jewellery industry.
* Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with clients and provide personalised service.
* Professional presentation and a positive attitude.
* Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends, as needed.
* A passion for jewellery and an understanding of the finer details of jewellery design
