About us
As a Senior Electorate Officer and Office Manager in the Drummoyne Electorate Office, you will ensure the smooth running of the electorate office and coordinate local electorate engagement, campaigns, and communications. The person in this role will be comfortable in a fast-paced setting, making sure we meet deadlines, keep on track with our goals and priorities, and handle Stephanie Di Pasqua MP's diary.
The Senior Electorate Officer will be responsible for:
* Overseeing the management of the electorate office
* Monitoring a busy inbox and proactively actioning items
* Stakeholder management and customer service - developing and maintaining relationships with constituents and key local stakeholders
* Preparing and drafting correspondence
* Diary management - managing the member's schedule
* Managing a small team of staff in the electorate office
* Overseeing budgets and responsibility for processing invoices

Essential:
* At least three years' experience in a coordination, project management, organising role, or similar.
* Experience working on community campaigns, community organising or similar outreach roles.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills, and the ability to draft emails, web content and produce print materials.
* Highly developed interpersonal skills and experience supervising the work of staff and volunteers.
* Superior organisational skills as well as experience planning and delivering on projects to deadline in a high-pressure environment.
* A high level of digital competency, including an ability to use office software, social media, databases, websites, and digital communication tools.
